Match report Spen Victoria (169 for 9) lost to Scholes (238 all out) by 69 runs
Bebloodyjaysus it was cold over in Andrewsland once the sun went in. This was a workmanlike win over a very average Spen who are in the lower tier of the Bradford League and who look to be sadly struggling on all fronts.
Best moment was sub fielder at square leg Bubbles nicely snaffling Keith Noble - and of course my lovely snooze in the car at teatime being cruelly captured and pasted all over this website haaa I will have my revenge!! Oh yes and Toby Booth when also on as sub joining the Spen huddle at the fall of a wicket!!
Pete Drysdale made a splendid 79 and Tony Booth a classy 42 and Chadders a breezy 30 and that was enough folks
