Scholes Cricket Club

Huge thanks are due to everybody who gave up their time and put in so much effort to make sure last week's Scholes camping and caravanning transformation for the Tour De France Grand Depart from Yorkshire was such a massive success over five very busy days.
It's only a couple of years ago that we simply didn't have enough "do'ers" in the club....now we have a superb hard core of 20-30 volunteers willing to muck in, and what a difference it makes...thanks to y'all our club is absolutely thriving.
So if I've missed anybody out profuse apologies but here goes
For providing mountains of food for the happy campers - Mabel, Sarah H, Anne M, Rebecca S and friend, Ros, Ruth, Helen and Stuart, Donna, Elaine, and Jane Hirst. And of course Lee and Caroline for serving up hundreds of burgers.
Those who gave up a nights sleep on guard duty - Tramp, Aidey, Bruiser, Steve P and John T
Josh and Harry, and the usual suspects John A, Bubbles, Chimp, Matthew "Chewy" Holmes for his superb welcome pack - and especially Craig Marsh for everything, especially for his amazing transformation of the changing rooms.
I know all the 30-35 sets of campers couldn't have been happier and that is all down to every one of you who contributed to one of the most successful weekends in the history of Scholes Cricket Club.     Ibbo
