This weekends fixtures have the second team at home both days:
Saturday - Thongsbridge in the league - 12:00pm
Sunday - Barkisland - Paddock Shield Semi Final - 1:00pm
We are delighted to be teaming up with Scholes Junior and Infant School in an exciting new partnership that will benefit our community. We will be able to use the field adjacent to the cricket club for training and other activity as well as use by the school. The land is owned by the council and the school has a lease of the land for the next 125 years, so it's use for the good of the local school and cricket club and it's community is assured.
The school will continue to
benefit from the use of the land from time to time as the need arises and we will work together to ensure that the land is well maintained and secure for the use of the children of the school and is a safe environment for the children and other permitted users. We have a very good relationship with the school and are very pleased to work jointly to enable us to provide even more opportunities for our community to enjoy activities in the great outdoors.
We look forward to a positive relationship with the School and will keep the wider community informed of developments in this exciting partnership as it grows
