Hi everyone, news from the League AGM I attended last night.
The teas situation remains unaltered, so we will have to decide what we do next season.
Slow over rates: For every full over not bowled by the 3hr 10min limit, an additional fielder will have to be in the circle.
Noon starts have been voted in for September. It’s 12.30 for all other 50 over cricket.
Fine for playing ineligible player gone up to £40.
Now 12 overs per bowler in second team Alliance, leg side wides will now apply, as will no more than 5 fielders on the leg side.
For all senior cricket, a new discipline system is to be trialled next season where teams will be deducted points for bad behaviour, with full details to be released soon.
Elland have resigned from the league still owing £900. Denby Grange CC have replaced them.
