Scholes Cricket Club

 

 

The energy bills at the club have now reached a staggering £2,000.00 per month. The cooler for the cellar is approximately £12,000.00 per year to run on its own.

 

This is putting a huge strain on the club and is leaving very little/ zero funds available for anything else. 

 

Any grant moneys we receive need to be allocated to the project they’ve been awarded to. 

 

And if we want to enjoy the standard of cricket we are used to, then something needs to happen.

 

The idea is this:

 

 

100 people pay £20 per month by setting up a monthly standing order to the club.

 

This will generate £24,000.00 income annually.

 

We then have a monthly draw and the winning numbers will be paid £500 1st £300 2nd £200 3rd

 

This will give an outlay of £12,000.00 annually.

 

Generating £12,000.00 for the club which will contribute to half its running costs.

 

All fine tuning and details would be finalised by me if it’s looking like we can get 100 people to commit to it.
